I can’t seem to put links in this hive communication so see below to make a comment. This is important because other states will look to this “roadmap” and copy it. The CA Dept of Pesticide Reform engaged in a nearly two-year process of developing a Sustainable Pest Management Roadmap. PAN, CCEJN, Líderes Campesinas and others were involved as well as the pesticide industry). It was a consensus document so it’s far from perfect. The roadmap goes until 2050! (way too long). The comment period ends MONDAY March 13.
If you are a national organization, and you want to sign on to the letter email me before Sunday night at: catherine.dodd@gmail.com or submit a sort message to alternatives@ca.cdpr.ca.gov saying this is a national issue because other states look to CA and you want to associate your organization with the comments sent by Californians for Pesticide Reform and Pesticide Action Network and other organizations.
